We welcome all people to benefit from our services and aim to promote inclusion. We will work with you and adapt so that what we offer is accessible to all where possible.  Irrespective of age, ability, gender, ethnicity, language and social background, we will provide meaningful ways for you to be involved.

Dugy the Beekeeper an ambassador of inclusion standing in front of the hives

Currently, our hives are situated in an area which is not accessible by wheelchair. It is too steep and the gate is too narrow. We are taking action on this and working with others to change the access and install a new gate which is suitable for everybody.

We can provide alternative means of communication including Makaton, symbols, and pictures for those who require. A social story can be created before your visit, tailor made to your booking.

Dugy, the head beekeeper, has lots of experience in working with people with disabilities and SEND and holds an enhanced DBS certificate. He is keen to chat about ways you can become involved hello@purebuzzin.co.uk

If you feel that there is more we can do to include others, please let us know.

Our priorities are:

  • Disability Inclusion
  • Promote better mental health
  • Reduce social isolation
