Beekeeping in your community

Our Apiary is held in Meadowell, North Shields. With a large community on the doorstep and great transport links, we will have many ways for you to become involved. You can receive updates and be the first to know about projects by signing up to our mailing list.

Dugy, the head beekeeper, has hives across North Tyneside, ensuring that there are plenty of pollinators to help the flowers and trees prosper. The most delicate and delicious honey is created by the bees whilst they carry out their pollination service.

Beehives can be kept in fields, yards, and even on roof tops. We are always scouting out new places to keep our bees. If you or your organisation can host hives, get in touch by emailing hello@communitybeekeeping.co.uk
